Adrian Alonso is a rising young actor who loves horror movies. He is very out going and social, and loves animals; especially his dog (Pupy) who is kind of an actress too. She has been in some mexican commercials :)
Adrian wants to become a famous actor and Director when he grows up, but also wants to work close to animals and become a veterinarian. He started having this passion for acting by watching children on tv shows and wanted to be just like them.
. In 2003, he started auditioning, and got his first role very fast in a movie called Voces inocentes (Innocent Voices in english). He did a great job in it, and, right after, he started working on a TV Series called "Pablo y Andrea".
. Early 2004, he auditioned and got the part of Joaquin de la Vega in the movie "The Legend of Zorro", starring huge stars Antonio Banderas and Catherine Zeta-Jones!! This movie was his first big project, and was also a big deal because it was filming in english, and he didnt know any word in english, so during 2 months, 8 hours a day, a coach was teaching him english. He quickly enjoyed learning it. The movie was a success and he got to meet lots famous actors.
. In 2005, he started taking english classes to become even better, and got the part of Tony, in a new movie called "I love Miami".
. 2006 has been a busy year for Adrian, he went to a lot of auditions and got the lead role of a movie called "La Misma Luna". which was at the Sundance Film Festival in 2007. The movie should be in theater in September 2007. He also got a small part in "One long night", a Mexican comedy currently in post-production.
. In 2007, Adrian went back to school normaly, to catch up on missed school work. He also worked on a short film called "Tiempo de Partir" during the summer and got a small role in the movie "Como no te Voy a Querer".
. 2008 has been a slow year, during the summer he got the role of Eleuterio in the movie "Parking Lot" and finally got to go to school a full year.
. 2009 has been busy so far! Early this year Adrian appeared in a short film called "El Ultimo Aliento", then he filmed an episode of "La Rosa de Guadalupe" and an episode of "Los Simuladores". He also got involved in the Human Rights campain and went to a lot of events.
